Hawke presents this as a very serious, reverent documentary, but Seymour breaks through with his beautiful wisdom, perspectives, life lessons, stories, and experiences.
Seymour's unbound but very grounded passion for life and the piano is infectious. He's an absolute delight and his outlook on life and his passion for music bring him as near to ecstasy as he can possibly get. To say this doc is touching and poignant is an understatement. Seymour makes me want to be better at my life, in general.
